When You Visit
Your First Visit
Getting started should feel simple and welcoming.
Your first visit is designed to help us get to know you, understand your concerns, and determine the best approach for your care. We take time to listen, evaluate, and help you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.
A typical first visit lasts about one hour and may include a health history, physical exam, x-rays if needed, supportive therapies, an adjustment when appropriate, and take-home recommendations to support your progress.
At your first visit, you can expect:
- A full health history
- A full physical exam
- X-rays, if needed
- Supportive therapies, such as electrical stimulation or massage, when appropriate
- A chiropractic adjustment, if appropriate
- Take-home exercises or recommendations
Before You Arrive
New patient forms will be emailed after scheduling.
Once your first visit is scheduled over the phone with our receptionist, your intake forms will be emailed to you.
Please complete your paperwork before arriving for your appointment. If your forms are not completed within 24 hours of your appointment, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and a late cancellation fee may apply.
Need help with paperwork?
If you are unable to complete the forms ahead of time, please arrive 30 minutes early and bring someone with you who can help complete the forms, if needed.

Here are a few questions families often ask before getting started with care.
Can I bring my kids to my appointment?
Yes. We highly encourage parents to bring their children to appointments. We are a family practice and understand how important it is for children to feel comfortable in the office.
We have toys and helping hands available to assist with your children during your visit. Many children also feel more comfortable and excited about care after watching mom or dad receive an adjustment.
At what age can my child be seen?
Children can be seen at any age, including newborns. We encourage moms to bring newborns and children in to have their nervous systems assessed.
Birth can be physically demanding for both mom and baby, and children grow and develop rapidly. Our goal is to help support their nervous system function as they grow.
How many visits will I need?
Every patient is different. Your care plan will be tailored specifically to you, your needs, and how you progress throughout care.
